what we do
The DMS PTA conducts multiple programs for students, teachers, and the community at large throughout the school year. Please check the calendar to see when the following programs are scheduled.
welcome all families
Back to School time is an especially busy time for middle school students and their families. PTA helps prepare the school by putting together bulletin boards in the hallways, and assisting with Schedule Pick Up Day and Open House. The annual New Student Luncheon is provided by PTA and helps to welcome students brand new to Madison City Schools.
ANNUAL PTA reflections ARTS CONTEST
The Reflections program is a creative arts competition sponsored by national, state and local PTA organizations. It provides an opportunity for children to express themselves artistically based on a common theme. The six competition categories are: literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts, dance choreography, and film/video production. Students participate in the Reflections Program by submitting entries to their teachers. Winners in each discipline can advance from the local level to the city, state and national competitions.
